What’s New
New Mexico Ford dealer, Don Chalmers Ford, is excited to announce the arrival of the fun and practical 2011 Ford Fiesta at their Rio Rancho and Albuquerque Ford dealerships. Originally launched in Europe, the New Ford Fiesta has been redesigned inside and out for US consumers, and now boasts many new enhancements, like a new subcompact design and improved fuel efficiency.
“The 2011 Ford Fiesta gives economy car shoppers reason to celebrate with its fun-to-drive personality, nicely trimmed cabin and tight build quality, along with some unexpected features including sporty driving dynamics, smooth and peppy engine, high fuel economy, welcoming cabin, and available high-end luxury features,” says Edmunds.com
Projected class-leading fuel economy, electric power-assisted steering, available PowerShift 6-Speed Automatic and an available Super Fuel Economy Package will add to the Fiesta’s allure for New Mexico Ford shoppers.
Autoweek.com says, “The interior is a huge step forward. You’re tempted when looking at a small car like this to think there isn’t enough space for you and your stuff. The Fiesta proves you wrong. Not only is the interior a welcoming cockpit, with a contemporary design–from the instrument panel, to the thick, formed steering wheel, to comfortable seats for adults of all sizes–but the packaging is sufficient to carry it all.”
At only 154.4 inches long, the 2011 Fiesta is an all-around car. What the Fiesta brings to the game is a balance of styling, interior space, dynamic feedback and refinement.
Unlike much of its competition, the Ford Fiesta is available in both sedan and hatchback body styles. The hatchback provides greater cargo capacity, but some shoppers prefer the more formal look of a sedan, which is likely why Ford is offering both.
“Either way, the Fiesta offers sprightly handling, a comfortable ride and a surprisingly quiet cabin even at freeway speeds. It also offers features that are uncommon in this class, such as keyless ignition and Ford’s superb Sync system, which, among other things, allows one to control audio and cell phone functions via voice commands,” says Autoweek.
New Mexico Ford shoppers are invited to join the Fiesta at Don Chalmers Ford.
